BEFORE YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR FIRST CLASS: 1) Register with Carol by email email@example.com or online www.getbusyliving8.com; 2) Complete your Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) Form (you only need to do this once/year); 3) Complete your Release of Liability Form and bring it with you to your first class (you only need to do this once/year)

Gentle & Special Classes
Back & Bone Health: Improve posture and core strength without compromising back integrity.
Self Care for Health: Six week (12 hour) Workshop information and movement series for non-exercisers that meets twice per week with the same group that will lean on each other for support, motivation and fun. This class will help you ease into an exercise program.
Exercise for Health: Perfect follow up to the Self Care for Health Workshop. Stability, mobility and movement exercises to improve balance, function important for everyday activities and lowering A1C. Each 45 minute class includes discussion and movement for mobility of all major joints from head to toe and opportunities to self test your blood sugar, blood pressure, heart rate.
Move Free: This 45-60 minute class includes a 10-15 minute warm-up to increase body temperature and preview of strength and range of motion exercises. This class may be helpful for populations with limitations such as Parkinson, arthritis, mild stroke and/or joint issues. Functional exercises to improve balance and functionality that are important for everyday activities including standing balance work, strength exercises to work different body parts successively as not to overly fatigue one body part at a time, and a relaxing 8-10 minute cool down to send you on your way. Intensity level is controlled by the individual. Chair modifications are provided. Great for those just starting with exercise or mild limitations.
Chair Stretch and Movement: This 45-60 minute class includes a 10-15 minute warm-up to increase body temperature and preview of strength and range of motion exercises. Functional exercises to improve balance and functionality that are important for everyday activities including standing balance work, strength exercises to work different body parts successively as not to overly fatigue one body part at a time, and a relaxing 8-10 minute cool down to send you on your way. Great for those with joint mobility and flexibility limitations and cannot stand for a long period of time..
Chair Yoga: is a gentle form of yoga that is practiced sitting on a chair, or standing using a chair for support.
Vinyasa Yoga: Vinyasa flow yoga combines breath and movement to challenge the physical body while quieting the mind. With a focus on healthy alignment, this practice will build strength, stability and flexibility and is designed for practitioners of every level.
Higher Intensity Classes
Fit Camp: Six week intensive workout series that meets twice per week with the same group that will lean on each other for support, motivation and fun. Consistent total body workouts over six weeks mixing elements of Core & Cardio/Strength, Power Up and YogaFit classes will give you the kick you need to develop a new exercise routine that will have you hooked way beyond six weeks.
30 Min Strength*: A full body and balanced strength workout for all the major muscles using various small equipment.
30 Min Full Body Circuit*: Core, balance & body weight circuit.
*Stop in for 30min or stay for both. Designed to get you away from the office for a reboot for afternoon performance. Online sign up. Pair these two classes with a cardio power walk and you have got it all done in one afternoon!
Power Up| Balance & Strength Intensive (BSI): Utilization of metabolic muscles primarily in the legs, back, chest and glutes for extraordinary calorie burning potential and slow, controlled, balance intensive challenges using tools like Bosu & TRX, your own body weight, light to moderate free weights (5-15lbs), resistance tubing etc. (45 min)
45 Min. Small Group Private Training: limited to four participants ~ advanced sign up is required ~ Private coaching benefits with 20% off regular private training fees! Share the cost and exercise with two-three other people with “Done for You” exercises each week with the assistance of a private coach. Usually 6-8 exercises for Mobility, Flexibility, Core and Full Body Strength.
