Independent studies back as far as the early 1900’s offer evidence that the type of food consumed in the American diet has contributed and some say even caused an epidemic of obesity and undernourished people. This has caused a ripple effect into other aspects of American lives including physical, mental and spiritual health. On going education is crucial toward reducing undernourished, obese and chronic illnesses that may be exacerbated or even caused by our poor habits or lifestyle. Many fitness and health professionals will presume to know or dictate what a client’s goals should be. The Get Busy Living, LLC approach is the idea that each client may have a unique situation or possibly may want help to explore what happiness/wellness looks like to them, therefore our first and most critical piece of success is facilitating development of a client’s goals.

The first and most important step in truly moving toward happiness is to practice forming an image in your mind of what this really means to YOU and rejoice that this is dynamic and will evolve as you journey through your life.  The snapshot in your mind should be what you choose for YOURSELF and is your very own.  Yes, you do have a choice and you OWN IT!

Because these goals are different for each of us, you will need to pay attention to what steps you need to take to get you closer to what you see in your mind.  There are many elements involved in moving forward and although the details will be different for everyone, all will no doubt, have elements that involve emotional, physical and spiritual health.
